Miss Suzanne is a retired Professor of Exercise Science from the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI). During her time at the university, she played a key role in bringing the outdoor education lab to campus, helping students connect classroom learning with real-world experiences in nature.

Beyond her work in higher education, Suzanne has a lifelong passion for outdoor learning. For more than 60 years, she has served as a camp counselor and outdoor educator with the Girl Scouts, inspiring generations of young people to explore, appreciate, and care for the natural world.

Whether leading activities in the lab, teaching outdoor skills, or mentoring youth at camp, Suzanne continues to shape lives through education, leadership, and a love of the outdoors.
